what never fails to amaze me is the sounds that come out of me when I'm in pain

today I sounded like a bird trapped in a tree while getting dressed. the pain is lessened by the colder/ wetter weather, but is still their

Yesterday was very busy. Lots of packing, preparing and trillions of phone calls. 🙄🙃 I was able to get a 25 walk in. I hope I can remain sane the next month. I’ve been doing a lot of sleeping 💤. I checked the weather and thought a change was going to happen. Fatigue and sinus pressure pain have been a throne in my side. Then IBS decided to join in. I’ve been making sure I don’t forget to take my vitamins, supplements and medications. Our new place is not ready and we will be staying with my brother until our next apartment is ready. Our dog 🐕 will be in boarding. I’m going to miss her so much. I’ll definitely be sure we can go visit her.

today while I was showering, I couldn't help thinking that the shower chair I was sitting on was about to break.

fat and ugly!. I so hate my appearance, and if showers don't make you realise that and that you hate yourself, I don't know what will.

seriously: it's like the only time I look at myself. I don't use them irror. don't want shrek staring back

Would letting yourself give into the rage for a bit help? Some times it helps me to just let go, rant, rave, pitch a hussy fit.

Morning everyone! It’s 7:30 AM CST and I’ve been up since 11:30 PM CST doing more packing. I’m already over 5,000 steps and my body feels like a walking bruise. 😜 I ate a last of leftovers for breakfast so there will be less food to transport in the hot summer heat. I’m glad I do have a few ice chest. After doing a lot of thinking 🤔 me and my teenage daughter don’t think it’s a good idea to have our dog 🐕 in boarding for so long. She’s never been away from us more than one week. I will keep everyone that’s struggling in my thoughts. I’m going to take a nap 💤 before my stepdad arrives to take my bed 🛌 down.

feeling a bit angry.

today I got a letter, and the person miss printed my last name

when I say miss printed it, I mean really mis printed. got it spectacularly wrong, and not just that, either

the last name they used just happened to be the last name of one of my previous abusers

can't say I'm too happy about that, either- and this place really needs correcting (I'll ring when I'm less angry about it)

and less in pain. getting ready for today was beyond painful

I hear ya on that one @raging vortex ...

Nothing's worse than getting triggered by reminders of our abusers.

And speaking of PTSD and getting triggered by intense reminders of past abuse ...

I am NOT about to force myself into having an invasive surgery that I do not want, and that's final!

Possible trigger:

I'll find another way ...

One thing I'm hella good at is being a survivor!

I think that's up their... never hear from my abusers again, along with finding at least 1 true friend and not being in so much agony- and if doctors really can't do anything for me, (which is looking ever more likely), learning to cope better with it.

feel terrible.

their's just nothing going on, and even if their was what am I meant to do with a body that just hurts.

yesterday I tried a new recipie (the lemon chicken I posted in another section othe forum), it was okay, but left me still hungry, so I first had some fries, and when that didn't feel me up, I had snacks- a lot of snacks.

another night with no sleep either. litirally none. not even the oppotunity to lie down

Woke up repeatedly during the night I hurt so much. Body aches from hades. Head feels like it's in a vise. Chest hurts. Sinuses plugged. I hope to gain this is a plain old cold. If I still feel this rotten tomorrow going to drag myself to a Covid test site. Fingers crossed folks.
