for a good supporting chair (like a desk chair)

one I can adjust so that it supports my back when it's needed

does anyone have any ideas of a good one?

My suggestion would be to go to several different places that sell desk chairs and try them out. That's how I found the one I have at work.

I would have said that too, but can't find anywhere (tends to be just online these things)

I went to Office Depot, Staples and a local office furniture store. Wal-Mart has a fake leather desk chair that's s really comfy and supportive.
