Is there a way to increase it and have more PMs stored? Mine is almost full. I already deleted the Sent items sometimes, when I got the notification of 90% full, but I think that after some more messages this won't be enough anymore. I'd be sorry to delete my messages though not all of them are 'important', and I'm worried about privacy if I download them on my computer.
Hope there is a way. If not, thank you however __________________ "I'm not beautiful like you. I'm beautiful like me". |

I've increased the PM max. numbers for members like you, so I hope this little extra room helps!

Just FYI, if you need more room, but don't want to delete your messages forever, you can save them to your computer by the old "copy and paste" into a word processing program. Not exactly efficient and a rather tedious thing to do, but it's at least a way to more permanently store a bunch of PC memories you would otherwise lose.

PMs can be exported to your computer using the export function. Click on the checkboxes next to the PMs you want to download, scroll all the way down to the bottom of your PM list and open the drop-down menu. You'll see three export options there...

Hiya, Bea.
Furthermore, you could use an archive utility like WinZip, WinRAR, or 7zip to compress the downloaded file(s), then attach a password to that archive. Been a while since I've used Windows and much longer since I've used those archive utilities, but I seem to recall those ones do support password protection. Of course, were someone to otherwise gain access to the archives, that's different, but if you're worried about a family member stumbling across it, it would probably suffice. Hope you're well. __________________ { Kein Teufel }

Hi all. I'm coming back to this thread because I'm still struggling with my inbox I have two questions:
1) is there a possibility to increase your inbox? I know I never have enough 2) if we really can't increase, and I have to download old messages, is there a way then to upload the document here, like we do with photos albums? So we would keep them here. It would feel safer for me, personally, and it would feel less like deleting them from PC. It's just that I hate the idea of deleting my messages Thank you and sorry if I insist on this topic. __________________ "I'm not beautiful like you. I'm beautiful like me". |

I hate deleting my messages as well, makes me uncomfortable
I don't know how the PM number thing works so have no idea if it's possible to get more PM space I don't know about down loading or up loading the messages either *donates some of my PM space to Beaflower* (don't know if I can do this for real anyways) |

I've increased the size of PM maximum amounts for our oldest members (such as you). You should try and download a bunch of older messages you no longer need, however, and then delete from them your Inbox. That's a better solution for the long-term, as we can't keep increasing the inbox size of members forever...

No, you can't donate your inbox size to other members, sorry. And it's okay to ask.

And whisper, you're so sweet to even think about donating space, even if it's not possible __________________ "I'm not beautiful like you. I'm beautiful like me". |
