what worked for me was buying a new mouse. you can get universal ones in any store that has an electronics department. it works with any desk top or lap top in the USB port.

Gus, I had the same problem Sunday, last time I was here. I don't see how it can be a problem with your mouse if it works everywhere else.

Go not control panel, click on the mouse and change the settings, see if that helps. Or update the drivers? Worst scenario, do a win repair?!

Logically, if it works everywhere but on Chrome, then the issue must be with Chrome. I'd check the Chrome settings. An update may have changed something.

I'd suggest using a search engine.

do people actually read the question before they make up an answer? i wonder...

i find it a bit annoying when a poster answers a question that was not asked, or doesn't answer the question that was asked. much as i love helpful people, this is not helpful.

and by the way, the problem stopped, so it must have been PC~

I am having the same problem this evening. I use Google Chrome for my browser. My OS is Windows 7.

PC IS THE ONLY SITE WHERE I HAVE THIS PROBLEM. Scroll button works everywhere else.

Gus, you aren't the only one having the problem. Seems to me if the problem only occurs at one internet site then the problem must be with the site!

Okay, this is weird. I booted up an ancient version of IE and the scroll button worked.

Maybe it was a bug in Chrome from a recent update that caused an issue with the software that runs the forum and chat. Chrome updates very frequently.
