I wanted to share an observation and request that I think will benefit the PC members.
Obviously, from the title of my thread, that request is for more West Coast chat moderators. I live on the East Coast. And when I'm in EST, I regularly participate in chat and find that it is active in the way I would expect based on what time it is. But I frequently travel to the West Coast, and when I'm in PST, chat seems dead at times when I believe West coasters actually need support. For the past few days, in the evenings, like 6pm-12am PST, it has seemed dead in chat. And the people I chat with personally who are typically in EST with me have all gone to bed by the time West coast people are just getting off work and may check in for support, including myself. One thing that I think could help is to appoint more West coast moderators. The four most frequent PC chat mods are all on the East coast. I know there are lots of West coast members, and I am always surprised that they don't seem to be around in the evenings when I go into chat when I myself am in PST. Note: I'm not volunteering. I think a West coast moderator might help stimulate chat activity for people in the later time zones. Thanks. Seesaw __________________ What if I fall? Oh, my dear, but what if you fly? Well since my thread specifies Pacific Standard Time, yes, that would mean USA West coast.
