For some reason when my computer's been connecting to this forum, today it's been saying in the bottom left hand side of my screen "preforming a TLS handshake to psychcentral.com" (this is as close as I can get to the exact wording, its only up for a couple of seconds before it disappears)
 I have never seen this before, is it something to worry about? sorry I'm in worry mode today

You're fine whisper - it's a security protocol, underlying https sessions on the site.
