Hello, I'm fairly new here.

Today I received a PM that I wanted to show my husband. When I looked again it was nowhere to be found.

My total PM is 6, but I can view only 3.

Can anyone advise me? Thanks...

Your total PM count includes the PMs you've sent. You have 3 PMs in your inbox, and 3 PMs in your outbox, totaling 6.

Is there a separate category called “Notifications” that is different from PMs?

no not exactly.

if I sent you a PM, for example, it would show up under Notifications that you have 1 unread private message, and when you click that it will take you to your inbox

have you looked in both the folders? (inbox and sent items)

another solution is to set the forum to email you when you have a new message. in the email it shows you the message in full (but you can't reply to it unless you log in)

just in case you needed a back up copy

You can also get notifications for Visitor messages. These are not private. Tap the 2nd entry to see them.

Thanks, Luna. That was indeed the message I was looking for. It was presented as Notifications / Visitor Message.
