Question is in the title. I know we can put people on ignore so we don't see their responses. Is there a way to actually hide threads? Kind of like Facebook will allow you to hide certain kinds of posts? Dealing with some issues here and trying to see if there are some differences to help manage the stimuli.

Please don't respond with lots of questions or philosophical rhetoric about ignore or opinions about what I should do. This is not intended for a big discussion; it's just a technical question. I just want to know if what I asked is possible and if so, how to do it.

Thanks.

If it's in a forum you don't want to visit or see threads from, you can unsubscribe to it on your profile so you don't see any posts at all. I do this for things about sex. *screams*
Good to see you posting again, been wondering how you were

Okay. That may be my back up. Thanks for that suggestion.

as far as I can find we can exclude whole forums but I see no way to just exclude one thread among many in a forum.

Yes it would be nice to be able to hide entire threads within a forum and keep the rest.

There is no technical way to hide individual threads here. Sorry.

Thanks for answering DocJohn. On another forum I participate in, each thread has a 'hide' button. Once you click that button, the thread won't appear on the individual's screen anymore. It is a feature that was recently added to the forum, although I don't know how much work it took to do that.

My profile, edit options, scroll to the last item on the page, thats where it is. You can choose as many as you like.

Dont forget to save your changes before you exit the edit options screen.

I can't seem to block more than one forum at a time on a macbook pro using chrome.
