I've been on the site for almost 10 years and I've already changed my name once because DrSkipper (my original name fyi) was really embarrassing to me, and I picked LiteraryLark at random because I was just so embarrassed by my other name I had to change it. But now I have another name in mind and I'm hoping I can change it again. Is it possible to do that without creating a new account? I'd hate to lose all of my posts over a name but I just REALLY hate the name LiteraryLark.

as far as I know the guidelines say we only get one name change, but there are exceptions to this... ( Why are we only allowed to change our username once? )

my suggestion is contact doc john by pm, and explain why you would like a second name change and an idea of what you would like your new name change to be this way you are ready in case you do fit with the exceptions to this guideline.

How about "reporting" your post to call attention to your desire to change your name. Heaven knows when admin will see this post otherwise.

I sent a message ages ago to change my name as well. My name is way too identifiable by people who know me and I am concerned about my privacy. Unfortunately I never got a reply to my message.
