I’ve been having a rough week.., not much sleep and a lot of noise irl..

I don’t often start threads here. I think I replied recently to a thread which vanished but I’m not sure.

I think (and I guess this is obvious) mods here and in other well run forums walk a tightrope between over moderation and under moderation.

I usually have quite a good self censor I think ....

I used to be a moderator on 2 different forums, I don’t think I could do that job now. I appreciate the mods here, some of whom I’ve known for years.

Thank you all for keeping pc a friendly and welcoming place .... not every support forum is as kind as I’m sure many know.

Hugs

PS I’m thinking of taking a cave break, just a short cave break. I’m just overwhelmed by so many things right now. I might feel better after some sleep.

(Btw that doesn’t mean I’m not here for private messages. Or that I won’t post. Maybe I’ll feel better after some sleep. It’s been a long night
I hope everyone has a better day tomorrow,

I hope I do too,...

Sincerely,
Fuzzy

I hope tomorrow is better for you.

I can agree with a lot of what you said about this forum and it being more supportive than others

re: mental health forums, I've been on 3- but out of those 3, this is the only one I've stuck to

one had ridiculous rules (for example they had a self harm forum, but insisted you didn't post anything about self harm)

and the other one had a posting rule that said 5 posts per day, anymore than that in a day they are moderated.

edit to say: I don't remember which forum it was, but one of them insisted that you didn't support others, the thread was yours, and yours alone

if anyone commented to support you, the thread was shut down by the moderator

Fuzzy, do what you need to take care of yourself hon. I'm taking a break from a forum I usually like to post to to take care of myself, so I get taking a cave break.
