I've noticed that some folks have their profile page basically blacked out or opt for an unusual color which makes it really hard to read. Can't post a visitor comment etc. Is that just a way of indicating that you don't want visitors? I am just curious. There seem to be quite a few like that.

I have the visitor comments function turned off. It's a large part of what appears on one's profile page when it's turned on. And once you turn it on you mostly lose control over it. (I can't speak to the color-related question. I presume some folks just like colors that make it difficult to read.) My personal messaging function is on. If someone wants to talk to me they can reach me that way.

Thanks a lot for explaining Skeezyks. I didn't know we could turn off the Visitor comments. I thought maybe people who've been here longer than me just had different options when they signed up. I stand corrected
