I had an interesting experience related to the "mention" function a few days ago. Someone "mentioned" me. (Almost no one ever "mentions" me.) Then, for some unknown reason, the posts were deleted. I don't know by whom or for what reason. So I have no idea what it was about. And I guess it doesn't really matter. But it is curious.

We don't notify anyone other than the OP when a thread is removed from the community, due to the amount of resources such notification requires. A thread is always removed either because it is in violation of the community guidelines, or because the OP requested it be removed.

My Support Forums is the online community that was originally begun as the Psych Central Forums in 2001.
