if you mean starting a topic, you've just answered your own question.
this topic here in itself is a thread you created that anyone can reply to in any of the forums, you can post a new thread about anything (providing it's on the topic), for example: games in the games forum, news in the news forum, etc- however if you do put the wrong topic in the wrong forum, don't worry because the staff do go through it and move it to the right section (you'll still find it, as their's a link to it in the old place where you started it) if you mean an actual forum, you can start a social group (that's like a club started by any member on a topic of interest to them), and post about it in the general chat area to see if people will join you need a few members first to get yourself a forum. 5, I think. maybe a few more hope this helps |

question...
do you mean forum as in like you see on the main page (example where you are posting this question of yours is in the Community Feedback and Technical Support forum board) or do you mean forum as in a social group like where you see the forums towards the bottom (At jesus's feet, Gamers corner, Car Buffs....just to name a few) or do you mean forum as in starting your own threads inside of a forum (example the forum name is Community Feedback and Technical Support and the thread inside of this that you made is called "how do you start a new forum on something?) or by forum do you mean post meaning what you wrote after making the thread title first if you mean thread and you already did that. you click on new thread and then fill in your title and write something then click submit. forum as in a social group is different. you first make your social group by clicking on quick links then click on social groups in the drop down window. that brings you to the social groups. then click on create new group. after you have filled in all the information and have created your group invite those you want to be part of your group to your group. after you have so many members your group will have its own forum listing (where you see the social groups on the index page at jesus's feet, car buffs and others) I cant remember how many members you have to have in your social group before it gets its forum designation, but I think it might be 25. |
