I do not always know when to use the trigger warning. I am so used to being triggered that I allow myself to be scared. I do not know if "integration" is a trigger for other people. Should I have put up a trigger warning?
What are common triggers that you know of where I need to put up a trigger warning? Can you list them for me? |

I think its like the Meese Report in the 1980's - you know what it is when you see it. If you feel iffy when you are writing something, put a trigger around it. If someone else feels you missed something, they will let you or a mod know, in which case a trigger can be easily added. You cant overdo it imo, because it is so easily undone by the reader.
Eta - an example is a specific action. Hows that for non-triggering?! |
