In case anyone else struggles with this... could someone please post how to block certain forums here, for safety. Thank you.

I have also spoken before to a few former members who said they were not aware of this (I realise that isn’t “my responsibility” or “the responsibility of the community team” since it’s clearly available if people know where to look.

This tool is at least if not more important than the “ignore feature” imo. I regret (for my own safety) I have not used it more often.

If a member clicks on "Edit Options" in the "Settings and Options" section under "Your Control Panel" (which appears on the left-hand side of the "My Profile" page) and then scrolls way down to the bottom (of the "Edit Options" page), they'll find a box labelled: "Forums To Exclude From View". I believe that may be what you have in mind.

I've also wondered this, but cannot find the means to do so on my profile. My only suggestion is consciously avoiding such forums and as a reminder, list the forums to avoid and stick their names around the outside rim of my screen. I do this for my own protection. This makes me feel a lot safer.

Here:

https://psychcentralforums.com/profi...do=editoptions

Scroll all the way down to the bottom of that page to find the area where you can block forums. If you're on Tapatalk, this may not work.
