People don’t know and probably don’t care how much harm they do with their cruel ways to those who have already been abused and violated by multiple abusers.

So many who call themselves human are cruel, stupid or both. It makes me sad to be human

It’s particularly hard not to be cruel to myself today

Thanks to people in this forum for being supportive

I agree with you FuzzyBear! People just don't understand and don't want to understand. I too struggle every single day with insensitive comments people make about mental illness. It is getting harder ever day to tolerate. Hang in there!

Thank you for bring this up. I have problems with everyday life, just with what people say, not to mention how they act. Most people don't even care, but I don't believe anyone on PC is that way.

Unfortunately, a lot of people lack self awareness and are insensitive. They don't think about other people's feelings or mental health. I know how you feel. Sometimes I want to be a hermit and never deal with people again.

Big hugs from me.

Fuzzybear! I love you! I know you without actually knowing you because you speak the same language. We both know what this feels like.

Thank you so much for this thread. It is exactly how I feel today.

Thanks,
HD7970ghz

It's quite ironic that so many of us abuse ourselves with the same abuse that we are running away from.

Thank-you Fuzzybear for posting this!

I have actually had therapists who supported the meanness of people towards me on the grounds of "social justice." Needless to say, I stopped seeing them and now regard them as complete quacks. Meanness causes harm and is inexcusable.

What dives me crazy is when people assume that because you are a quiet person, you are a dangerous person.

I think the stapler guy from office space. Did more harm than good.

I personally had walked into a meeting at work. I had a hammer in hand because the project i was working on required a hammer. I didn’t want to leave it lying around or someone would take it. So i brought it with me to the staff meeting. My manager took it away because i might get upset and use it on someone. Ive never shown hostility towards a coworker ever. Not physically, verbally or even in tone. But regardless the manager felt that i was too quiet and i could go off.
