I wonder if recovery is possible too. I'm off meds, but unable to work. I can't remember what it feels like to wake up "feeling good" and have it last all day and night. More and more days are a disappointment because I did wake up, even if I only had a couple of hours of fitful sleep. I wish there was a pill that worked for me to clear this shadow of overwhelming despair that has become my constant companion.

I was working and studying while being off of medication, but I wasn't truly OK, my brain exploded a month ago and I got fired and missed my exams.

Well maybe you池e not ready to be off medication. I took 10 years off work and took medication for 10 years while I raised my daughter on my own. Work is still hard for me, I recently cut back from 40 to 32 hours and I may cut back one more day.

Red face Re: Is recovering possible?

My signature below sums up how I feel about it ... Yet I still keep working on it even though I'm not sure why.
