How do I become a Pollyanna type person...
A “positive person” at all times Who is “loved” by the whole word.. All I ask for is respect..... It appears even that is “too much to ask for” ...... “How long have I been sleeping How long have I been dreaming ...” “Close to the end.....” Ursida (Not about anyone on pc) __________________ |

Respect is never too much to ask for. Respect is one of the most basic foundations of human relationships. Without respect there can be nothing. No trust, no vulnerability, no care. no authenticity, no love.
Respect is something that should be taught to all children from as young as possible. When we respect someone we give them sovereignty over their own being. We honor their choices, their wants, their needs, their individuality. To the little ones, we teach respect by consistently and without fail giving it to them. We teach them respect by only ever being respectful to all others. To learn respect, they need to see it. They need to feel it. Respect is never too much to ask for. It is a baseline. It is a requirement. It is the starting point. It is the foundation of everything. If a person can not give you respect, then they do not get to proceed from there. Respect is the baseline requirement for engagement. If respect is not given, we can wait for the person to be ready to engage with us respectfully before we are ready to listen to them,. Respect is NEVER too much to ask for - respect is the minimum requirement. My wish for you is that one day you will know this. |

I don’t think there is such a person; who is positive all the time and loved by everyone, always.
If you are always kind and say all the right things, you may be mistreated, while you just take the abuse. When you set boundaries, you still may be mistreated anyway. You get pushed to having to take action and someone won’t adore you asserting yourself. It’s a careful balance. Keep on being you, Fuzzy! __________________ "And don't say it hasn't been a little slice of heaven, 'cause it hasn't!" . About Me--T |
