Hey everyone! I've been diagnosed with C-PTSD after experiencing 3 years of lots and lots of different traumas (as I'm sure you're all familiar with!)
All of this happened within my adulthood. I know that people speak highly of Pete Walker's book, but (from what I understand) this is mainly about childhood trauma & so I'm hesitant to buy it. Does anyone have any great resources/ book recommendations to help with CPTSD that developed in adulthood? Thank you all! |

I don't have any first-hand knowledge with regard to this. However here's a link to an article, from PC's archives, that discusses a book on cPTSD the article writer considers to have been an important contribution to the literature:

Hi, I think Pete Walker can be used universally, even for adult trauma. I highly recommend it.

Thank you for sharing this PC article! I ordered the book and also listened to a UTube talk by the author, Janina Fisher, and it put some pieces together. I can’t wait for my book to come! __________________ "What is denied, cannot be healed." - Brennan Manning "Hope knows that if great trials are avoided, great deeds remain undone and the possibility of growth into greatness of soul is aborted." - Brennan Manning |

I like Pete Walker also. The Tao of Fully Feeling helped me so much.
