Hey all. I'll break this down.
1. Risk management job for an event promoter. I was brought on to establish a risk management plan and implementation for a show with a lot of risk. Long story short my recommendations were no followed, I had no support and I watched as little kids were almost run of, people were almost badly injured and then in the end I was fired as they felt we were not needed (but never told this)and left with massive debt. I have been left with a lot of why and flashbacks to the event. 2. Cop: Pretty much says it all, but keep coming back to the time I had to keep a corpse attended until the morge could take them. Nothing like watching an old man hang out of a truck door bleeding and dead for an hour...... 3. Other jobs where I am so eager to please I get humiliated and taken advantage of to the point I hate myself. Every day is hell for me and I want it to stop. |

Hi, I'm sorry you didn't get any replies yet. This section of the forum isn't very busy.
What you describe sounds traumatic indeed. Do you have a therapist? It looks like you may have issues with setting boundaries. Perhaps you're a highly sensitive person. There are books I recommend : Elaine Aaron Highly sensitive person Pete Walker's From surviving to thriving CPTSD Welcome to the forum and I'm sure you'll get more responses, but unfortunately I, sometimes it can take time. __________________ Complex trauma Highly sensitive person I love nature, simplicity and minimalism |
