Maybe these things happened to you, maybe they happened to someone else.... Here's your chance to tell them.

I'll go first:
I remember a guy who was kinda awkward in jr. high, but he would speak his mind. Quietly, but with confidence. He wasn't perfect, and he sometimes got things wrong, and he knew it. But, the people around him thought it was funny to loudly ask him questions, and then berate his answers, no matter what those answer were, without even checking to see if he knew what he was talking about.

An example: Many states, including the state he lived in have a different style of plates for trucks than they do for cars. I don't know why it even came up, but one day, someone loudly asked this guy if he knew why some plates looked different than others. He replied, "Well, trucks have a different style". The respondent laughed and said, "That can't be true, because I saw an El Camino with a truck plate.." His response was, "In our state El Caminos are classified as trucks." More laughter.

When I was in... oh... about 4th or 5th grade I guess it must have been... (so many decades ago) a girl in our class who was always very quiet wet her pants in class. I think I remember it because in... oh... around 7th or 8th grade or so... I vomited in class...

I remember a quiet guy in jr. high who others liked to pick on. One day, some bullies put books in his backpack that hadn't been checked out. There were electronic sensors in them, so that when he tried to leave the library, alarms went off. The librarian made him open his backpack, and he had a hard time explaining what the books were doing there.

He was really frustrated and started yelling, "why are you so stupid?" "why can't you show some common sense?" He knew that she knew what he wanted. He wanted her to understand that he was right about spending that money on a new TV. Why couldn't she realize that?

When I was in Jr High a girl who rode our bus had an accident while sitting in her seat and waiting for her stop.

He was standing in line- because his wife asked him to. She had gotten her hotdog, but was standing in another line for popcorn, when she decided she was too hungry to wait- she caught his attention, and now he was standing in line while she was sitting down and eating her hotdog.

Did the people around him realize that he hadn't cut into the line? As he walked up to take her place, she was stepping out of line to offer assistance to someone who needed a napkin. "I was right there", she said, and then she walked off. He felt very uncomfortable... Why couldn't he have made a quick quip to put people at ease? Something like, "I'm not taking cuts! I'm just taking over for my wife!" Now it was too late, and he could feel their eyes burning into his back. Oh, well, it would soon be over, he would have the popcorn and he could return to his seat.

I used to always sit on the first row of the school bus in kindergarten and first grade. One day I threw up all over the steps... and had to endure all the kids complaining and being grossed out as they exited the bus... they had to literally jump over it.. while I sat in the front seat waiting to go back home. Ugh. Being a kid is tough.

one time I was so annoyed at having to study rainforests in geography class that during the lunch break I broke in to the geography room and stole the cd

I told everyone I was planning to study, but I snapped the disk

no more rainforests!

I also stole a book from the school and never returned it

I remember it well, because on the back of the book their was a label that said " year 5", which is where the book belonged, and I replaced the year 5 label with one with my name on it

I don't have the book now, it fell apart

I probably shouldn't boast about this (actually I really shouldn't), but I've been feeling in a destructive mood lately, so I decided to trash my friends space on the cloud (you know where you can store music, stor pictures, what ever)

I caused enough damage to it that my friend decided to quit using the cloud, and I was able to get the space for myself

in my books, that is a win

and I was refused it

during my first manic episode, I decided to see if I could get on the show " who wants to be a millionaire?"

as it turns out, the question they asked on the phoneline was very easy- and I chose a date I'd like to be on the show

well, I never showed up to the filming, and on the night of the show they actually said, on tv (word for word)

" and someone else"

I was sitting on my bed shaking a little (trying to figure out if they were going to get a 10th player on the show), but they didn't

they litirally stuck with 9 players that night

A vivid memory: My boyfriend, we were high school seniors, running down the long school hall with me on his shoulders. We were both laughing hysterically. A teacher stopped us and said we were being "too tactile". I clearly remember wondering why the teacher was referring to peaches.

(Those were the days, my friend; I thought they'd never end.)

I want to share this (because it's one of the few times I actually felt appreciated)

this girl, josie, I met her one day at random, and we got talking about stuff

well, she collapsed while we were talking, and I later found out that the reason was that her drink had been spiked

and I stayed by her and helped her (like put her in to recovery position and stuff), she came round (thank god), and the first thing she did as soon as she came round and could breav, was thank me for saving her life.

my first thought was, well, usually people have nothing good to say about me, or don't appreciate my help, but she did, and she let me know- I felt wanted, even if for a couple of seconds.

she ended up continuing her journey, but I don't think she ever forgot my kindness

In middle school, I was bullied a lot, mainly by these 3 girls. One day my bag wasn't on the peg in the cloakroom and I was looking all over for it and when I went around the back into the toilet area, my bag was in the sink and the tap running. Maybe the bullies didn't realise the bag was waterproof so it was pretty pointless. I assumed it was the 3 girls, because they were the main ones at the time.

Then another time, I went into the cloakroom at breaktime and these 3 girls were hanging around near my bag with a very suspicious look on their faces, especially the "main" one (the one that seemed to be in a charge and the other 2 just followed). I knew they were up to something, it was obvious, and I wondered if they were going to put my bag in the sink again, maybe this time open it, or even worse put it in the toilet.

Then the bell rang and we all went to class. Then at lunchtime after lunch, I went to my bag to get my sweets and they were gone. It was so obvious it was the 3 girls, and that's obviously what they had done when they were standing around looking suspicious. I told the teacher and of course they denied it so I got told off for "accusing them". The teacher was standing between me and them, and when she turned around to tell me off the girls started laughing silently and making gestures. When the teacher turned around, they pretended to look innocent.

Oh how I hated those girls.

one day in the playground, someone came up to me and handed me a chocolate bar

and at the time, I thought that was what love is- I mean real deep love

but lol. now I know it goes deeper than giving someone a bar of chocolate

I'm really not judging but how did the aftermath make you feel inside? You must have been hurting to do this.

I'm not proud of this, but at the time, it was my only choice. I was in a state hospital..a real hell hole. One very forbidding woman and I bonded . (I have no idea how or why) She started attacking the nurse (who was very cruel) and I just stood there. I didn't help.

(Help the nurse, I mean.)

yes I was hurting.

as for the aftermath, well, it turned out that storing stuff on the cloud was emotionally draining (uploading just 1 folder to the cloud would take me ages), and I ended up giving up on it.

it didn't hit me what I'd done until I was told... now I need to find another place to back up all my stuff

and yes. I felt like the worst person in the world. it must have taken ages to build up that collection on the cloud

I felt even worse when I knew I wasn't going to use it either

Once in the hospital I threw a trash can at my doctor, it was a small trash can and it didn't hit him, I actually didn't mean to hit him. He was a nice doctor. It's just that I was supposed to be released the next day and instead of telling someone that I wasn't ready and was still suicidal, I threw the trash can so that I would have to stay in the hospital.

I don't think I ever apologized to the doctor. He didn't deserve it. He was friendly and had a cute funny beard.
