A few weeks ago somebody started a thread about other online support groups. Does anybody know where that thread is?

I’m on the fence about trying to start counseling therapy again. I haven’t had much luck with it in the past and my budget is really tight right now. Online counseling looks to be even more expensive.

I need to do something... either therapy in some form... meditation again... more reading and journaling again... support groups... PC definitely helps a lot but even hubby gently suggested I consider therapy the other day.

If you feel like you need it, I'd say definitely try therapy, Sisabel. I'm sorry your budget is tight right now, I hope you'll be able to find one that isn't too expensive. If it's not possible, the other solutions you suggester are great as well! Journaling and meditation can definitely help. Whathever works best for you. Wish you good luck! Let us know how it goes. Sending many hugs to you

Good question. Just frustration and some sadness. Old issues that never seem to resolve.

blah therapy, 7 cups, and talkspace all offer therapy

I know in the case of blah therapy and 7 cups you can actually talk to someone for free (a trained listener), I know because I've been a listener a few times myself on blah therapy.

both of them you have to pay for the therapy, but with 7 cups, you get a free trial and you get to answer some questions so they can match you to the right person.

I'm sure their's probably others out their too (I did find one and forgot the name of it. lol)

ah yes, their's "healthfull chat", which is a free series of chatrooms you can go in and talk to other people with the same issues as you.

from the top of my head, their's an anxiety one, bipolar one, pregnancy one, chronic pain one, eating disorder one and borderline one (I'm 90 percent sure their's one on alcahol addiction), and their's even off topic ones- their's a general lounge and a trivia room
