you've made up a game which involves sitting on your bed counting how many times you can actually hear something that isn't your own breath (and score yourself for it). 10 points for the birds, 20 points for the cars, etc

Hi, Miss Emily, great thread.

Strangely enough, my only contribution to it is to report that as an extreme introvert, I don’t tend to get lonely. Quite the opposite. Usually I can,t get away from people fast enough. One of the practically nonexistent “advantages” of introversion. Actually I didn’t tink there were any until I saw this thread. So thanks.

Most of the time I am that way too but on occasion I get a twinge of lonely feeling.
