I am struggling with feelings of guilt. After nearly six months of abstaining from a negative, addictive behavior I "relapsed" several times over the past month. While I have reached out for help from people in support system, I can't help but feel guilty about destroying my progress. It's made everyday feel like I have a weight on my shoulders, and my heart is heavy and sad. I was doing so well, I don't know what happened. I let myself and everyone around me down. I don't know what to do.

I think sometimes we’re our own worst critic. I’m sorry for your pain

Please keep posting if it helps at all. I suck at advice sometimes

"About relapse... You are not alone, and you're not a failure. Be proud that you've tried. Just because you slipped, doesn't mean you can't recover. Keep trying, and don't give up. Find out how to learn from your relapse to succeed the next time!"

I'm am very sorry to hear that you feel like this! I hope you keep going into the right direction! You got this!

Thank you to everyone for your support and encouragement. I've been trying to take time to nurture myself and practice self-care these past few days, and it seems to have helped a bit. You all give me increased strength, so I thank you for that.
