Today I received a letter about an issue I've been dealing with for a few months. It summed everything up and put huge demands on me. I spent a couple of hours taking care of the matter as best I could. The due date is Monday. I think I have everything in order.

I'm so stressed out and anxious that I decided I would cope with my emotions by eating. I ordered healthy stuff but still I don't think this is a healthy way of dealing with things. I've gained 10 pounds over the holidays.

Maybe I will put the food in the fridge and just go to bed. I could use a meditation. I'm so upset that I have pain in my neck.

I have some tea for relaxation. Maybe that will help. I'll give it a try. What things do you do when you're totally stressed out?

I am so sorry you are dealing with this big stressor, Deilla. Sometimes, tea, and a nice blanket (if it's not too warm where you are), and maybe some not annoying music or something can help me. If I had any pets, they would help, but I don't, so I look at the animals sometimes on Animal Planet and it makes me feel calmer. I don't know why.

Meditation is fabulous, if you can get yourself into it. Sending you calm and peace. You can do this.

Thank you! I ended up eating my food. It really calmed me down. I'm content at the moment. I don't feel too guilty because it was as healthy as I could make Mexican. Yes, the meditation really helps me. I have several apps on my phone and I do guided meditations. I usually fall asleep after or during. Sometimes my pets will come cuddle in bed with me. One good thing about this present moment is my pain is gone. Writing here helps calm me too.
