I completely forgot. I wanted to say something. I wanted to vent my feelings and I don't know what to say. I was having a hard time and it feels extreme. Thanks for listening.

Say whatever you need to say, DarkMagician.

I think everyone sometimes feels emotions so deeply that they don't know how to express them. Maybe you could try to physical activity or do something creative. Sometimes I take a long jog through the woods when I need to think.

I really want empathy but it doesn't seem like I really get that from other people in my life. It really hurts me. I feel like empathy doesn't exist and people don't think it matters and everyone is always focused on other things rather than being empathetic and trying to understand your perspective. Just wanted to put that out there.

Yes, that's often true. And very upsetting.

Many people don't understand empathy, it often gets mixed up with sympathy. Brene Brown has some really good books on this subject that might help you understand and cope with your feelings.
