I need to express this for myself, but I thought if there were others who need to hear this, that is okay with me too. I am really struggling with staying indoors, but I've gone out into the public three times for grocery shopping and its taken so much out of me and it scares me what sickness I could be bringing home to my family, virus, flu, colds, doesn't matter, I don't want any of it but I am not used to being indoors for any length of time. I am restless.

So here's some affirmations I wrote for myself. It may not be the greatest, but it's how I'm coping.

I accept that I am encouraged to stay at home and rest.

I deserve to put myself first by staying at home and resting.

Staying at home prevents sickness in myself and my family.

I accept that my feelings of uncertainty, restlessness and anxiety are valid and understandable, and that they will pass.

I acknowledge that there is no right or wrong in activities I choose to do while staying safe at home or in what order.

I deserve to enjoy my free time without any guilt.

Staying at home is not a punishment, think of it like a surprise vacation from major obligations.

I deserve to be kind to myself and acknowledge the stress, worry, and panic that I feel.
