My current diagnosis is a mouthful, Bipolar, Autism, ADHD, GAD with Borderline traits...
My current medication is for Bipolar and GAD, (Latuda, Lamictal, Zoloft, Buspar and Trazadone) In a nutshell, all this stuff boils down to me feeling like all my emotions are ramped up much higher than normal... Even on strong meds... On top of that, I am so affected by emotions that I see in other people that I've been called an "empath" by several people... I have high intelligence, but my emotions are so messed up... To give you an idea when I was 11 a psych report said I had the critical thinking skills of an adult, but the emotions of a 3-5 year old... That's terrible!!! They want me to go through DBT therapy, I've tried before but I'm so impulsive I have a very hard time applying the skills.... I need advice because I'm tired of living in an emotional whirlwind... __________________ It's as simple as I love birds...

I have bp 1, not bpd, and I have taken DBT three times. I use it more than anything else other than prayer and meditation. I strongly advise u to dig into it and learn what fits for and to you.

Yes, it took more than one DBT program to really help me.
