I've been living a very superficial life. Tomorrow really isn't guaranteed. If a truck didn't drive on the shoulder during a sudden stop, I would have been smashed between a trailer and a large truck. It made me think I should have saw my daughter yesterday. I'm lucky I made it through today and get to see her tonight.

I rescheduled to attend a songwriter meeting. I also decided I'm going to get that orange shake at Arby's even though it's off my diet because I'm lucky to be able to get that shake. It was an epiphany. I need to be more grateful for the life I'm living. Fat limited income life.

I'm also glad you are safe. Sometimes a scary incident changes the way we think about life whether today, tomorrow or the future.

Yes it was and so glad I got to see my daughter. It was a miracle. My car doesn't have working airbags. So it could have been really bad. God protected me. And woke me up. I saw the fear in the truck driver's eyes.
