Nothing wrong with deleting posts, imo, Fuzzy.

I was writing about something I was struggling with, and halfway through, I started making myself feel better with what I was writing. I just kept writing, then copied it into another place so I'd have it. I accidentally pressed "publish." I'd also put personally identifying details in it, so, yeah, when I pressed publish I was like "oh ****!" and immediately deleted it. Lol.

Hugs, @seesaw Hope it gets better for you too. Hope they turn into more "Yeah!" and less "ugh."

I have done that too where I have tried to post a thread and end up deleting it. And sometimes I find what I posted helpful enough for myself that it's not worth posting it all. Then there are times where I am venting and delete because I decide "nope, no one is going to get this and it's going to end up causing more problems instead of helping".

When I first joined PC the ptsd was really bad. I kept feeling the only way I could avoid being misunderstood or getting the same questions or comments was to repeat. That's because when I reached out for help I was so incredibly misunderstood, even a psychiatrist who looked over my records looked at me and said "wow you are a very misunderstood woman". Ugh I will never forget that session because it cost me $500.00 just to hear that one statement.

I relate to this in terms of posting. I'd also been misunderstood by professionals. For years. Lots of different rando diagnoses. Hugs, oe!

I've also been misunderstood by professionals for years, several dxs which were thrown out, seemingly randomly

I also delete my posts as I don't want to be misunderstood sometimes (but some have posted angry, critical posts to me )

It seems some people want to 'teach'' me things in a callous, condescending way, as if I am ''less than'' them. That is unacceptable. I'm far smarter and ''stronger'' than that.

(not anyone on pc)

Similar to the random dxs thrown out by professionals, some of them were completely wrong.

Hugs WovenGalaxy
