Default You ruined it

Answered my mobile.
As a teen that was a
No fly zone.
I felt foolish when
The Bonnie popular
Girl had a proper
Falling out with theirs.
I had no right
Pointing out my pal
In her bat woman costume.
I had had snog sessions too.

Default Leave it out

I only went to three interviews
For an office based job
And one reception role.
I wanted to avoid
Pub and shop jobs.
I never told the Navy Officer
I was a potential who
Trained alongside the
Olympic team. My heart
Was not in it. I swore
I would never let
Someone dictate my life
When I was growing up.
To me it was not failure.
If I was not going
To college then university
Then the military
Was my best bet for
What I wanted from life
Even if it meant leaving Fred.

I loved the card.
And no one had
Bought me flowers before.
So why did he find
It so hard to express
A little emotion
When we moved in
Together. So a song
Was maybe too soppy.
But he could have
Said I was fine
The way I was
And nobody could
Tell I had the bipolar
If they did not
Know my past .

Default The Great Gatsby

I only read C. Bale.
I never read stars.
I never read D jr.
I read some of skateboard.
The narrative is
Very good in the mask.
But rats, a space ship
Was too far. That
And cream coffee had
A good thing going
On and worth a gander.
But some of it
Is just soul less in parts.
I think they under estimate
Young adults and
Their propensity to hedonism.

Default Fred ate healthily

I had bi-polar so
I did not need the
Eating disorder rumour too.
I ate like a horse
As a skinny teen.
I was taut but not
As thin as a track athlete.
I was tall and lost
My puppy fat.

Default Chill out

Fred only needed to rest.
He was naturally thin.
My mind was doing over time.
He could have done
With some aerobic exercise.
And something that
Chilled him out that
Was not alcohol.
My apologies for a stunt.
But I was worried
About his ghost white pallour.
I thought he was
Not eating and pushing
Himself too hard.
I did not take time
Out to think either.
I hope he was
Getting some ready meals.
He never ate enough
For intense exercise
When we lived together.

Arms side to side.
Woah calmez vous.
A move from Patrick Swayze.
Dangerous when drunk.
I was trashed right enough.
My pals told me I had to
Use my hips when I danced.
It was hardly the time warp.
I can't remember that one.
The Macarena that's it.
John Travolta that's excusable.
But Ok quit massaging the derriere
While in the dj booth.
There's still cameras.
Sex on the beach.
As kids we actually
Did pelvic thrusts.
Back in the day. Unbelievable.

Default Dowdy restaurant

Omg. Pumpkin soup.
Rose garden how cheesy.
If they knew I had
Been unwell they
Would definitely have
Realised it was a
Confidence issue and
Not me slacking.
So I was at fault
For jumping back
To work far too soon.
I was not my full self.

Was it because I was not perfect?
I was only his second girlfriend,
He had not exactly played the field.
If he could not stand a tiny
Blemish on his trainers or car,
He maybe did not like
That I was not perfect.
There is nothing wrong
With being a perfectionist?
He had higher principles
Than most he would say,
So to be with someone like me,
Was a reflection on an
Inadequacy he must pocess.
I have a strong moral stance.
I just rebelled and I have
Reasons for my phase.
My pal said that she
Had no idea I was bipolar.
She just thought I was
In for depression.
