Default Words you can no longer say after MH

I was detained at eighteen years old
For a month and then
Home to recover/get well and rest.
I could no longer banter
About certain things with friends.
Jokes I heard, used or laughed at,
Were now out of bounds.
If a pal was in a bouncy mood
And making wise cracks
I could not say: it is her day out,
She has been in treatment.
Or if someone could not remember
Something they should know
I could not say: You must
Have forgotten your pills,
Coffee is not strong enough!
I am so unbelievably stressed
I may end up in the Looney bin.
When you drink, you turn
Into your alter ego, I don't
Trust the drunk you!

Default Enigma-tic

I have never been a person
For using labels.
Before rehab I was
Trepidatious when speaking
About a person's orientation.
When I decided to try
Some internet dating sites,
I found myself agonising
Over what to class myself
Or introduce myself as.
And I fell into the category
That did not like the L-word.
If I say gay instead of the L-word
Will users think I am not out
Or ashamed to be a...
And now we have a plethora
Of fashionable phrases
To describe your gender identity.
And of course at first
I questioned ok, which
Refers to sexuality and
Which refers to your gender.
And I would say I
Am a little gender fluid
When it comes to fashion.
I am feminine. I am female.
I can't see me in a tux,
I don't like blazers or
Ties or dickie bows.
I like wearing a dress.
I like make up, shoes,
Jewellery and getting "dolled up."
But casually I tend
To be a bit of a tomboy.
Tattoo's do not
Float my boat as I
Just cannot see myself
With a sleeve of tattoos.
Some women like Ruby Rose
Looks fantastic with hers
And she rocks the
Pixie cut hairstyle
Like Frankie from the Saturdays.
I like having long hair, and
My natural curl.

Default No fountain of youth

Perpetual waves
Even when sleeping
Our minds still operate
Oblivion, escape, dare
To feel, to breathe, to live

Ptsd, word salad. Consequences.
Hedonism. One way path.
Jumbled up, seeing red.

You don't remember me.
Craft was too messy.
Make your own cards
On community payback.
"Queer" actually means
Weird where I am from,
No affiliation to orientation.

You would let them?
Karma goes around
All day frisking cats.
The wind fraped your hair?
Dancing with the
Teddy bears?
What if it were
A proper fit?
I don't think they
Should have been
Working with the
Frequency of them.
I won't pass out unless I mix.
I need new advice.
Too auld fur this
Rigmarole.

Default Regression session

Lights will guide you home.
When is it safe to
Reach into the muddy pool
After a breakdown?
In some cases does
Reliving traumatic memories
Risk worsening matters?
There are so many
Factors to consider.
Sometimes there are
More pressing matters
Such as general survival
From day to day.

Is reliving traumatic memories
From the past risky?
It could make a person's
State of mind worse.

Default Presque Assez

It is harder when
You are intelligent.
Because I have
Lost something I
May never regain?
The shame of
The self destructiveness?
That a person is
More aware of
How others and society
View mental health?
Just the fact
You have to accept
A sickness played
A hand in the behaviour?
All of it really.

Default On the double

It was a practice pad,
Rather than blank paper.
I was a tomboy so
Of course it would
Be funny if I had
A girls book.
