I know it's sometimes (often) necessary to repeat oneself endlessly to professionals to receive anything but the basic minimum of "care"

Maybe my "sin" is Pride

Having been violated by more than one "professional" in "real" life, (and I don't say this lightly ) ... talking to any of them makes me feel physically sick

So yeah.. avoidance always was one of my "coping" mechanisms

(((hugs fuzzy bear)))

One of the biggest issues I find with MH professionals, is that they don't listen properly (or sometimes not at all!).
New CPN is a case in point, supposedly very experienced and good at her job.... but she doesn't bloody listen! In an attempt to reassure that she has heard what you've said correctly, she talks over you while you are still trying to explain something and ends up just missing the point, not understanding or skating over something really important...

Is it any wonder we end up avoiding?

Maybe my "sin" is what's keeping me alive and away from those people

Please forgive my cynicism regarding the "care" in this part of the forest

I just don't trust them, can't trust them
