Routine is very important to me too. It was hard for me to have the long Thanksgiving weekend without much to do. I was glad to get back to work and my regular routine on Monday.

Glad I could be of some help! I see that the author of the link used specified times (from - to). I have noticed that sometimes I give myself permission to break the line of my own timetable. That should be a red warning flag for me. Sometimes I see the flag, and take care. Other times it is "invisible to me". That happens when I feel OK and tell myself that since I'm fine it is OK to let go of the routines. Sometimes that can be necessary because some "old stuff" pups up and needs to be reflected upon, but it is not good to fall completely off the usual and helpful everyday road.

I want to try a new "method": If I, as an example, feel that this is the time to reflect upon something from the past, I will set a time-limit and say to myself: "OK, use the time from xx o'clock today until zz o'clock tomorrow and then return to your usual routines.

This is the second thread as we already reached 1,000 posts on the first thread.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is how the original thread started:

As it states in the title, I am looking for accountability partners so that we can all motivate each other to get **** done, set and achieve our goals. We would have daily check ins.

I, like many others, suffer from a constant funeral in my brain and I need help navigating life and a community to turn corners with. I know that I am not the only one who lacks motivation and lacking the tools and resources in getting out of bed.

I am reaching out to PC because I don’t have anyone in my circle who can be an accountability partner. Well, I don’t have a circle.

I am hoping that this will motivate others to get stuff done while lacking motivation to do so.

I'M IN!
