It's pretty terrifying. First my mind felt restless, then my legs started feeling restless and I couldn't sit still. I had to walk and walk...walk indoors of course...at times I knocked over furniture in my way...I would get exhausted from walking so much, yet I wouldn't be able to sit still or lie down....my legs would feel so restless. It was very painful.

I guess not tolerating meds means we have only our inner strength to draw on. Guess we are all trying to get through in our own best way. Love to you Fuzzy Bear and all posters in need of support today |

“A permanent solution to a temporary problem” - this is one of the rather over used phrases that I personally don’t find particularly helpful. It’s been used so often...
Anyway I salute all those who put up with “sub optimal thoughts” and emotional pain (which I think would include everyone here) I’m sending positive healing vibes to all <3 __________________ |

Hey... I am feeling worthless and if nobody is close to me.... and what is blaming the people that did this to me is going to do? What is done cannot be undone. They... don't believe you need human contact to be "successful" (aka a topper in the whole city and eventually the state or perhaps even the country) person... they believe reading textbook and going to college will solve all of their problems.
My dad once told me "People do Ph.D by sitting at home" when I asked him recently why he doesn't let me go outside... so yeah, you don't need to read scientific journals or publish original papers or even go to college, you just need to read the textbook...lab experience doesn't matter. And no matter how many people tell you "it's wrong, you don't parent this way" even if it comes from teachers and doctors, you ignore it. Because you've just invented a brand new style of parenting, and they're just making your son turn in the wrong direction.. I have nerve damage. I don't think I'll last much long. I don't know; really. |

Man, I cannot blame my parents fully either. It's not that they're bad, it's their illness that makes them bad. They don't understand my pain. Dad asks "why don't you get good grades" and mom calls me names daily. All because of their ridiculous illness.
My mom just a while ago told my sister that she won't be allowed to visit her grandmother's house because my sister didn't complete her homework. How ridiculous is that? I mean, you induce anxiety in your child because you think manipulating her into "studying" (without food or proper nutrition, exercise or lifestyle or even the environment, or human contact at all) is going to make her successful? It won't, it'll lead to crippling results. They're crippling human beings for life times. Biology tells us every animal has life in it. We kill tigers and bears for their skin. So why not as well as not give a **** about lives being crippled? |
