I just wanted to say good morning to Little T, Fuzzy, and everyone else on the bus!!! (((((((BIG HUGS TO ALL))))))) I have another long Dr. apt this afternoon. I have to layer my cloths, for 1 it is very cold, and the 2nd reason is they always weigh me, and they won't like my weigh. Yesterday I had a long apt yesterday at the infusion center that my H took me to, and I had to layer my cloths for that. I have to go every 6 months for this treatment. They normaly weigh me, but yesterday they just asked me. I told them it was 104, 10 pounds more than I am. I am glad I got through that one without problems, now I need to get through today's apt. Wish me luck. I have had a difficult week, and I don't want to have to deal with them getting on me about my weight.

I am abnormal....my celexa is being stopped gradually...
I think that my emotions are coming out... they have been suppressed by the celexa .... so now maybe I can be more real...still abnormal according to others.. |

when I am talking about abnormal I am not talking about anyone else....
for most of my 87 years I have been told that mental illness makes me abnormal... I have lived with that stigma...I have even incorporated it into me.... I know that actually I am little turtle who has a mental illness.... I am not the mental illness.... also I am in a very bad angry mad mood this morning....not directed at anyone here... |

this morning I am reading the book peace of mind....
the author says on page 35----"it must strengthen mature men and women to realize that everyone has desires and fantasies anti-social in nature" what do you think about that... |

I am suspicious of "must" assertions. However, my observations support "everyone has desires and fantasies anti-social in nature."

I agree with rohag and fuzzy....I really don't like most of this book...
it is much too -----this is the right way...preachy..... there are some ideas that I find helpful....like helping not hurting yourself... |

I am so unhappy...things are not peaceful...and there is such injustice... and the stigma is there,,,such misunderstanding... I am going to try to be as honest as possible...I hate BS... I will also try to be kind...and patient...there are many good persons here on this depression forum... |
