[I am not self diagnosing myself]
I decided to look at three different diagnostic criteria for major depressive disorder (ICD-10, DSM-IV, DSM-V) and according to all three of them I have severe major depressive disorder so my speculation was more then correct. Those depression tests are pretty accurate all 13 of the ones that I took from six different websites.

I've been doing research for almost a year now and it only just occurred to me to look at the diagnostic criteria

Online tests have no reliability or validity. Please get yourself checked by a mental health professional so you can get proper diagnosis and treatment.

Hello and a warm welcome to PC. It looks like your next step may be to a medical professional for diagnosis and treatment.

I think you probably do have major depressive disorder, but the next important step is to see a doctor to get an official diagnosis. Then you can talk about medication and therapy.

((((C0dy)))) I agree. Go to a doctor if you believe you have depression. It's the only way to be sure and to receive proper treatment.
