I know this post is old and probably not relevant to the original poster, but in case anyone else is wondering. Depakote is a definite no go during pregnancy. It can cause neurological problems and learning delay. Europe now insist that all women of pregnancy bearing age take birth control and sign a yearly form of declaration showing they are aware of the risks.
