I read a heartbreaking story over reddit while ... listening to Mac Quayle's Mr Robot soundtrack, the soundtrack for the scene where Angela dies, and Elliot says the following to her

-You wanna know what I believe? That this isn't the end, that there's another world out there for both of us. That we'll see each other again. And we'll play, and dance, and bake, and sing. Doesn't that sound beautiful? Will you believe with me?"

And... as I searched the internet for the saddest (fictional, horror) stories, I was reminded of the tune...

Here is the original story, please read it if you have the time. It's pretty short (not comparable to a novel or anything) and it takes around just fifteen to ten minutes to read it. It's a beautiful story, and you can find the score here on youtube.

Reddit nosleep - I Knew a Girl Who Had Beautiful Wings

Basically, I'd have tried to explain it but it was a long time ago... and I don't think I am that much good of a narrator. But then again, I'll try.
