No specific plans other then to take it easy. My own decision to be kind to myself and tell myself that it is OK to rest, that is no catastrophe that my home doesn't look like Christmas (I am not going to be home), seems to be helpful.

No pressure to do this or that, makes it more easy for me to feel that this shall pass too; to relate to this condition as if it was a flu or someting like that. Today there is one more second with daylight then yesterday. At New Year Eve there will be about 1 1/2 minutes more daylight. One month later we will have five minutes more daylight (in my area) and two months after New Year Eve the day will be long enough to perhaps feel well again (I mean "normal" chronic depression without the extra backpack of heavy darkness).

I work so hard through the year to do as much as possible living with depression. I even tried to make it after I had the winter-depression on top of the usual depression this year, but had to submit to the circumstances. I refuse to have bad conscience!

Kindness to everyone (remember to be kind to yourself and not do more than you are able to do)!

I did laundry and emptied the trash. I'm going to relax now and do some art work. Tomorrow I will set up my cat's feeders. I've been meaning to do that for a while.
