I think the best is to decide to do some "things" and then come back here and report that I have made them:

- Eat
- Mindful exercise
- Unpack the rest of my luggage from my holidays
- Put the washing machine to work
- Empty the dishwasher

Be well all!

Plans for today:

1. Finish the dining room
2. Run errands
3. Edit my new vision board.

Warm wishes to all.
The dining room took much longer then I allocated time for and by then I was really worn out. I did run one errand. The only thing left to do on the dining room is to clean and buff the hardwood floors.

Plans for today:

1. Finish dining room
2. Run errands
3. Float at the pool
4. Clean the bathrooms.

Warm wishes to all.

I've had a productive day. I started a new book for my depression. It's Mind Over Mood. I'm really enjoying it and it has worksheets. Today I cleaned litter boxes, picked up in the living room, emptied the trash, cleaned off my kitchen counters and right now I'm doing laundry. I also filled the bins of food and water for the cats. And finally I did some classwork on art and mindfulness. Wishing everyone the best!

I slept horribly. I also forgot until the last minute that my case manager was coming today. I did see her and I got my volunteering done. Nothing else got done.

It was a slow Wednesday, still with the feeling of hopelessness. I did the Mindfulness exercises twice (as I should according to the program). I wasn't hungry at all, but forced myself to make fried fish and potatoes. I put the washing machine to work, had not enough energy to empty the dishwasher and only some energy to partly empty the suitcase after my vacation.

So far this day (Thursday) I have only sat here with the feeling that nothing helps. I feel useless in some way. I feel overwhelmed because the Mindfulness training doesn't fit my usual daily program (took more time then I thought). If I hadn't paid for the whole 8 weeks program, I would have put it aside, forgot all about it.

There is one more "thing": My GP thought that I would get more energy if I quit 1/3 of my antidepression medication. Yes, I did, but it scares me, because I don't know how to use it.

May be I shall try to fill one week's timetable with all my usual activities and see if that is manageable. If it is, it will help me to focus on one thing at the time and use myself wherever I am.

I am going to my desk to make the timetable.

Be well all!

Woke up early and did well. I completed an art project, finished a book I was reading and started getting dressed for the day. This morning some people will come by to collect my junk pile. I'll be glad to get rid of that. Later I will do some art assignments and try to paint with acrylics. I will also clean litter boxes and take out the trash. Hope everyone is well today!

Done! I have made it like frames that are guiding for every day in the week! I don't know if there are enough time to rest in between.

I want to try to force myself to do what is on the plan, like I did when I was a student. Then we did things even when we were tired ...

I will start to follow my plan at the following Sunday. Wish me luck!

May you all be well!

I floated in the pool with friends yesterday and finished the dining room. Feeling irritable and low energy today. I guess it would be best to get up and get moving.

Plans for today:

1. Straighten house
2. Clean bathrooms
3. Take mom to doctor
4. Sell books
5. Float in the pool
6. Get bird out of house

Warm wishes to all.

I run and recreated it by pen and paper while I still remembered it (The worst was done in the thinking period when I used my PC because I had to decide when to do what).

Well, it is done again. This time it is on paper and cannot disappear!

May your day be good!

I did float in the pool and got the bird out of the house but that is the extent of it. I’ll have to double up tomorrow. Will make a plan later.

Warm wishes to all.

Friday: I feel like it is the first day in a new life. I'm glad that I have this feeling, but know that that can change. It has to be my job to drag me back to that responsibility and that feeling.

I think that depression partly drags us down so that we degrade ourselves, let go of our dignity. We cannot stop having bad days, but we can choose to make the best out of those days as well (like many do in their student days, they go to Uni even if they don't feel well).

The Christian Mindfulness program tells me that I am a masterpiece made by God and that that gives me dignity ... It is about how I will show God that I appreciate this dignity. How will I behave in gratefulness for that and how will I use my body?

I will follow my written plan for Friday. That includes eating healthy, walk outside, visit the grocery store, do work in the house, do two Mindfulness trainings and more.

A good day to each one of you!

Been up since 1:00 am. It’s 4:36 now. I guess I’ll get started and try to tick a few things off my list before I go float at 9:30. Some things I plan on doing today: straighten, clean the bathrooms, sell books, take mom to her hair dresser and go clothes shopping.

I hope everyone has a peaceful Friday.

I did some art this morning and I tried to set up a new pen tablet for my computer. Still having problems. So frustrating. I'm in a bad mood. I cleaned one litter box and that's it. Will try to clean more litter boxes later once I feel better. I don't plan to do anything else today. I'll read. I hope that helps me feel better. Hope all of you are well.

My yesterday became much different then what I had planned. First there "popped up" some office work I had to do. Then it took me hours to copy my old stuff over to my new mobile. I shopped grocery for the whole weekend for myself and for my sick relative. I ate out; a good and tasteful dinner. Had no energy to do the mindfulness exercise in the evening. Saw something at Netflix and went to bed. Even if the day turned out otherwise than I had planned, I felt satisfied with it. I just did what I had to do and was OK with that.

Saturday: I jumped out of bed while the clock rang and almost fell asleep during breakfast. I did not make any thoughts about that my written plan was too strict (no generalizing), only accepted that I was tired after my busy yesterday and went back to bed to rest (not to sleep).

For now I will do my mindfulness exercises. Then I have planned to do the following (and not blame myself if it is too much - just be in the here and now):

- wash what needs to be washed in the bathroom
- put the washing machine to work
- dust and hovering in the following rooms: bathroom
- entrance
- living room
- bedroom
(Mindfulness exercises in the evening).

May your Saturday be good!
