These need not be major or dramatic things to be grateful about. It could be something as simple as: "I am grateful that the sun came out today." On a dark day, people may find it difficult to think of 5 so even 1 would be great!
Does anyone feel like sharing some gratefulness with me??
I'll start....
I am grateful for a kind message I received from a friend.
I like to try this out. But I don't know how to start out since everything hurts.

Good question Buffy!! I am so sorry that everything hurts, I've been there. I'll help you start...

pick something very small that makes you smile even for a moment...a soft cloud...a ray of sunshine...the sparkling of light as it bounces off the snow...a crescent moon...a tasty snack...a warm comforting drink...a long, hot shower....

Any of that strike a cord with you? Here's a safe specially for you Buffy because....YOU DESERVE IT!

the nutritious meal cooked by my S.O.

the sweet boy who smiled and said hello at the store

the woman who said my hair is beautiful

the former boss from years ago who came to say hello when he didn't have to

the new Mary Poppins film for reminding me that magic still exists!

(all on a day when I woke up feeling terrible...thank you Universe!)

Today I am grateful for:

1. Still having my mom around. She fell down an escalator Monday and although she is hurt...she’s alive and will recover. Hallelujah!

2. A great cup (or three) of coffee this morning.

3. The love and support of family and friends.

4. My daily planner.

5. A beautiful sweater vest I received as a present that I’m wearing today.
