Today I'm grateful for:
-I saw a psych nurse practitioner today. I was a little nervous about that but she was very nice, and had a warm demeanor. We have a plan for medication if I feel worse, and my own pdoc comes back in early July. -I listened to NPR today and heard a neat story about a woman who was going to get her PhD in english and instead started writing about TV. -I'm looking forward to seeing my friend tomorrow. |

Today I'm grateful for:
-DBT group. It went amazingly well today. I left feeling happy. -I got lunch w my friend, and ice cream too. She paid, it was so nice. We talked a while. -I have been very negative lately about men (in the dating sense). I have said things like " I'd rather be single than settle." Which is true, but my friend said something that shocked me out of my negative spiral: "there are good men out there." It made me realize I have been looking at only a few men, and generalizing a whole group of people from my experiences. -knitting

Today I'm grateful for:
-I went to therapy today. I'd been very anxious today and she did a resourcing exercise with me and it made me feel better. She said I can do it on my own at my house as well and it will help. -Even though I was anxious today, I showed up to what I said I was going to do. Success. -It's a hot day and I'm really glad I have AC. -I'm home now, resting, listening to music, and eating a snack. -I went to the library to pick up 2 holds that came in today (2 seasons of Parks and recreation ). The clerk checking out my books for me was in a good mood and we chatted a little.

Today I am grateful for
Godiva chocolate wearing my favorite outfit - a tank top of pinks and purples with crystals and a plum colored summer sweater with my favorite black capris and pink flip flops. my recliner (with a nod to speckofdust) where I always sleep beautiful weather (92F and sunny) spending this last day with my daughter’s dog. She has decided to rehome him and I’ve spent much of today saying my goodbyes. I’m grateful for that time. |

Today I am grateful for
AC on a stiflingly hot day my own transportation on a stiflingly hot day the reputable, first rate adoption center we placed my daughter’s beagle with so he can be adopted by a loving family and have new adventures. It was her decision. having 125 episodes of Monk recorded to help distract me when I need it my beautiful prayer beads made for me by my daughter for my birthday my recording set for tonight for the movie Die Hard which also helps distract me fresh raspberries |

-My therapist. -I'm looking forward to putting some good music on, having some peppermint or ginger tea, and researching places to go and things to do outside my city in nature. -Looking forward to watching the democratic debate on YouTube (I missed it yesterday) while I finish knitting my mom's Afghan. -And so then looking forward to watching SNL. Though it may be reruns. -I'm outside right now in the shade with birds in my parents backyard. My mom's going to come out and sit with me. -kind people and my friends here on PC. |
