Hello folks,
I typically do not use a journal but I found a very interesting one called 52 Lists for Happiness. There is a list for each week of the year but I think it can be completed in any way people choose. The lists are designed to "inspire and encourage people from all walks of life, to harness their inner wisdom, strength and self love through list making." So, I'm going to start my 52 Lists and I'll post pieces on the forum for anyone who would like to participate and share their own lists. There are also great action cues which come with every list to help you increase your happiness level. List 1: List what makes you happy right now (no requirement for length of list) - sharing this new idea for happiness with folks from PC - listening to my coffee-maker bubble and crackle - daylight - writing with an inky pen List 1 Action cue: How often do you actually get to experience these things? Just like learning to read, gaining the wisdom and experience of happiness takes practice. Let's start now. Take one item on your list and see how you can turn it into a daily practice of happiness. |

52 Lists for Happiness
List 3: list the things that you are really good at. Action cue: underline the things that you had to work for to become good at, and circle the things that you feel come naturally to you. Do any of these things overlap? Just like happiness, it's already within you. It takes practice to experience daily. |
