I keep hoping that various doctors and tests will find something physically wrong with me, like some kind of brain disease or leukemia or something, just to have some real explanation of why I'm tired all the time no matter how much sleep I get. They never do.

Busy today. Felt pretty good emotionally in the morning, but felt very down in the afternoon. That's the way Saturdays are for me. In the afternoon when I felt down, I was thinking about how it seems like I'm always the one to put myself out for others. No one will put themselves out for me.

Today, I would say that it was the most social day for me at my new place. But it's just a lot of small talk and no connections. Tonight, for the first time since I've moved in, there was someone else in the Jacuzzi when I went in. He was alright, but not my type.

I got a movie for tonight, like I always do on Saturday nights. It's about the afterlife of a couple of people. We'll see if it's going to be good.

I'm feeling not too bad this morning. I did sleep well.

If I get stuff done today, like cleaning the bedroom and going through mail, I'll feel a lot better.

Sorry to hear that. I have been through that myself. There was a time when I had panic attacks & depression and just didn't feel good. I was tired and light-headed a lot. I felt so bad one time that I decided to have a blood test to see if anything was wrong. Nothing was wrong, it turned out! Well, if everything is normal, why do I feel like crap?

I have to say that depression and anxiety can be exhausting. Also, be thankful you don't have a disease of some kind because that can really be bad if you did. I know, because I had cancer myself one time.

I'm just lacking any motivation. I may have to get my bf into a nursing home. I don't even know if that will help.

Not too busy today at work, but lots of people taking a class in the auditorium today and tomorrow. It was a good day for me emotionally. My skin problem is clearing up nicely now. It seemed to have cleared up sooner than I thought it would. Also the leg swelling has improved.

I worked out after work. It went very well but too easy. I'll increase the weights. I wasn't sure how much to put on since it had been about four months when I laid off of it.

Pretty slow at work today. There was a meeting by phone today that's held every week. The maintenance man didn't show up at that meeting and it was expected of him to be there. I did a bold thing by asking the manager if it's necessary for me to be at those meetings since it only covers the maintenance issues and nothing on my job. I find those meetings to be a waste of my time and humiliating for me.

Not a good day for me emotionally. I'm feeling like people in general do not like me and have indirectly showed that to me. Or you might call that "passive-aggressive". I hate that stuff.

I'm sorry, I was not meaning to diminish the difficulty experienced by those who suffer from such medical conditions. I should be more careful about how I choose to phrase things on this forum

Made good progress on current project today. Over 2,000 words written, and a number of critical plot points hashed out. I'm on track to have this novel finished by the end of the year. It'll be my longest work to date, as I expect it to be over 200,000 words.

Well, I'm awake and having breakfast. Took my morning meds and took my bf to the bathroom. That's a start. Now . . . if I can build on that. I did just do a few dishes, which have piled up over past 2 days. If I can just keep going . . .

Had a bit of a rough morning with pain and anxiety. Slept a while and took some Tylenol. Doing much better this afternoon. Will probably go to bed early.

Hi! Just visiting to share a post that I created on the bipolar forum called "Ideas for adjuncts to psych medications: Depression". A number of members on the bipolar forum contributed ideas that have helped ease their depressions, beyond medications. I thought that perhaps someone here may be interested in them. You are more than welcome to share what's been helpful for you. We'd appreciate any desired participation. Here's the link to the thread:
