Papa bear said today that I play the piano like a “little angel”...
Why can’t I hold onto the kind words from true people...  More than the harsh and untrue words from abusive people with an intent to harm  I guess having parental units and the whole family of origin with what I consider to be almost zero empathy or appreciation for me doesn’t help... and not much kindness But I am able to be kind to, appreciate and have empathy for people. For that I’m grateful I’m also grateful to all those others who have those gifts

Didn't heard but totally believe you do play like an Angel.
Keep doing that reppeating those kind words to yourself. Messed up parent unities sucks.
