Thank you little turtle and all on the as is bus for always accepting and never judging.
I wish more in this world were accepting and non judgmental as I also try to be.  It deeply saddens me... A lot of things sadden me So many are so cruel. And lacking in insight.  It’s been another hard day. I don’t want to give details of my offline life and what happened as like many .... I’m sure everyone on the bus understands. i just read something interesting....it is about persons with an overweight issue...
people tend to look at overweight as a problem....and they see that as eat less and move more... but it is not that simple....i am learning about leptin resistance....wow |

Thank you, Little Turtle, for bringing up the issue of hormonal activity in body - and brain - homeostasis.
Just for reference: a PubMed abstract on leptin and ghrelin. I like the following saying: "It's not that 'you are what you eat,' it's 'you are what your body does with what you eat.'" __________________ My dog  mastered the "fetch" command. He would communicate he wanted something, and I would fetch it.

i also had an interesting talk with one of my daughters...
i tried to tell her about my mental illness.... she kept saying to me....not mental illness...but just YOU... she may have something there... but i wanted her to know how much i suffered and still suffer....how unhappy i am with life... i hope she understands some....why i wasn't there for her when i broke down big... most people just don't understand what we go through.... |
