Hi there. My spouse has suffered from anxiety and depression for many years. He is an educated and ethical person but due to a poor work history (quitting most his jobs after less than 2 years), he believes he’s “doomed” and lacks the motivation to believe he can find a way to make a living for himself. I don’t care how harsh it may be, but I would like to hear from others who suffer like my husband does. Is it that dark and hopeless? What motivates a person, even in the slightest way, to see a glimpse of hope? Thank you for letting me share and ask.
