I can feel my depression getting much worse. I was doing good (for me) for a couple of weeks and even started some medication. I was optimistic that the meds would help. Now I wake up today and can feel myself quickly spiraling out of control. I am rapidly approaching rock bottom again. Will this be the time that I actually break through the bottom and end this for good? Knowing me probably not. Now that I think about it this started late last night and I chalked it to being tired, but it has continued today and gotten even worse.

sorry to hear you are struggling. I do hope, sincerely, that you can get thru this. I am a rapid cycler and I go from manias to deep depressive states frequently. I am in one currently and have been sleeping very poorly. maybe the meds are causing you to feel this way? perhaps asking your doc or describing your current state of depression would help. I know this may sound cliche, but try to think about positive things in your life. go over, in your mind, things you are grateful for. it may help. sending best wishes your way. get better. and please stay in touch.

Yeah talking to a doc is out of the question. It may be the meds. I don't know. This is just something I am going to have to work through while self medicating. And before you say I shouldn't be taking meds without being under a Dr care know that it is either self medicate or nothing. There is no other option.

I kinda know what you mean..
Talking to a doctor is not a helpful option for me after many .... experiences..

Self medicate or “nothing”
