It’s Sunday. I’m in the dining room with Papa bear.

He has requested “no words at all”

I’m not sure for how long. Maybe an hour, probably more.

Certainly no words all evening, that is the “normal” he prefers. I don’t like causing him stress.

I’m trying to stay alive for Papa Bear,

I’m trying to make some progress in processing some of the mess inside my head.

What should I do?

Something I’m grateful for is peace from the unrelenting noise from workmen in our house..... it was causing me very severe distress and confusion. I cannot use ear plugs. Music didn’t really help.

This might be a pledge thread if anyone wants to participate.. what are you staying alive for today.... or how are you feeling.

Does mindfulness help

The 5 senses

Hearing - birds singing
Touch - touch a teddy bear
Sight - a beautiful tulip
Smell - maybe later - toasting hot cross buns
Taste - maybe later - hot cross buns

Seek support from those who understand.

Mindfulness for me works when i use it to maintain a level of good health...
No help on bad days...

Hearing - my clock tick
Touch - putting on some hand cream
Sight - seeing my granddaughter
Smell - fresh flowers
Taste - my roast dinner
